The Ram Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I find the customer service at the Ram lacking on every visit. I always get the strong sense that the servers just don't care. The ambiance of the Ram has a restaurant/bar feel for sure. They have a good selection of spirits and a okay selection of taps. I have never cared for the food. It is standard quality at twice the price. The parking lot is a mess. We decided to stop by because I always crave the Armadillo Eggs. These things are so awful that they are good. They have a lot of different flavors going on inside. They are hot and greasy. I just love them. When the Ram was in Lake Oswego we loved to go there for the great ambiance and pretty good food. Since their relocation all of that magic has disappeared. The Ram just isn't special anymore which is a shame. It is overwhelming, sloppy and no one seems to care. The Ram is similar to the Claim Jumpers across the road. Pick which one is less crowded and go to that one even though they are both almost always super busy. The food quality at both restaurants is the same. I would not go out of my way for the Ram unless I am craving that strange Armadillo Egg appetizer and now I am.

Bloody Mary very tasty! Food good. It is better than Applebee's for sure. I had fish & chips. Fish was battered lightly & inside moist. Daughter enjoyed a seasonal steak salad (large enough to share). Will return when in area. Dying to try the deep fried green beans!

The atmosphere was energetic sports bar and the waitress was friendly and bubbly. The mozzarella sticks were big and loaded with cheese. My Fabergé burger came out hot and gooey, how wonderful the taste. I would definitely go back for more!

This is not great food, by any means, and it is highly questionable if it even raises to the level of "good" food. But there is no question whatsoever that it is BIG food, much like its next door neighbor, Claim Jumper. It shouldn't come as any surprise, btw, that the JUMPAH and The Ram have identical cume star review averages. What gives the Ram an advantage, and the only that saved them from a 2 star review, were the in-house brews. The Butthead Amber in particular was quite nice. Only a Butthead could be hatin' on that action.... Our group loves the deep fried pickles and get em pretty much every time they come here. I was horrified to find the one batch I tried were sweet pickles. Bigger travesties against man and nature are hard to find indeed, than sweet pickles. The Reuben was like so many guys I played football w/in HS and college---- big, dumb, affable, excessive, nondescript. Ooooooooooomp there it is. Next time save your appetite for a worthier eatery, like maybe even Olive Garden right across the way... I can't believe I actually wrote that out loud, but there it is. Get it together, Ram...

My pet peeve is to have to wait for a table when they obviously have many many many open. Then they took us to the first table in the restaurant .... Um that was 3 steps and you made us wait for it. ? Took forever for server to take drink order. Tried the skinny cocktail .... not a fan. Switched to wine. Liked that I got yo pick how many ounces of wine Ordered beer cheese n pretzels for appetizer. I'd say okay .... Really expected it to be better. I had Mac n cheese with blackened chicken. Honestly, much better as a late night snack later. Husband had chicken strips .... They were great.

We have been here a few times now since the move from the old location. Don't know what changed with the move but it has improved quite a bit. We have been very happy with this place since the location change. Food seems to be much improved and the new place feels more family friendly. We avoided going here in the past because we were repeatedly disappointed with the quality of the food. The food has been very good though recently and we have put it back on our list of options when dining out. You can expect standard pub foods, (burgers, sandwiches, pastas, and a variety of fish and steak options. Good menu selection without being overly complicated. If you are in the area it is worth stopping in, but I wouldn't drive across town for it. Lots of TV's and very loud on game nights if that is what you are looking for. Despite being busy I feel like we get pretty good service consistently.

The food is good. I had the French dip. Tasty. The only thing I wish they had here that would make the meal better is a house made cider. Instead they have one of the mass produced ciders.

My family and I came to the ram for happy hour the other day.. Here's what I have to say: 1. The service was mediocre. All the people that served/seated us were pleasant and friendly. However, it took forever to get our food. The party I came with was not the easiest to wait on, but for as few people that were in the restaurant, it didn't seem like it should take so long to throw a few appetizers together. 2. The food was gross. I have never been a huge fan of this restaurant in general, so perhaps I am biased. However, we ordered corn dog pops, pickle chips, beer cheese soup, sliders, and some loaded beer cheese fries. It wasn't terrible food, but it wasn't anything I wouldn't take out of a freezer bag and pop in the microwave. Plus, half the food was cold when we got it. 3. The mini corn dogs were the best thing about the experience. Though I can't say I will be back anytime soon.

Not sure who the waiter was but he was rude and annoying the entire time we were there, we get it, you don't watch the same sports as we do (I was in a party of 8) but could you not make a disparaging remark every time you walk by our table? I take it the place is a "sports bar" since there are twenty big screen tv's all over the place, so maybe we could get a tv for ourselves to watch while you serve us food that would be considered crappy at the neighborhood Dennys? What a terrible place to watch a game.

Great food. First time here. Great selection of food and seasonal beverage. Will definitely come back

I always get the hillbilly burger, it's my favorite. I really liked this place when they were at their old location by Sears. Now that they have moved there is always a wait and it's really loud.

  • Megan W.

Meh. That's about all I can say about this place. The food was pretty much on par with Applebee's. There's nothing really wrong with it, I just think I could make a better steak at home for much less money. The service was good and the beer was decent, but I definitely would not go back by choice.

  • Pamela Y.

Good place we were not disappointed. Probably will come back. My husband and I shared the ribs. They were awesome. The root beer is very good as well. No problems with the service. I did not care for the appetizers, but it was only my taste. Looks like they have a great drink menu but we did not have any. Also a great dessert menu ( did not try that either). Kind of loud. Lots of beer choices. Enjoy!

Went in today to enjoy dinner away from the storm. I ordered the cobb salad my daughter had the fish and chips. Big piece of fish that she said was good. She ordered the garlic fries and they looked yummy. Now, I've had some good cobb salads, this was not one of them. It was served in a bowl, ok...but I couldn't really see the ingredients, like the lettuce was thrown on top of the other ingredients. There was a nice chunk of avocado, the dressing was already thrown on...I had asked for it on the side - but a lot of it. I got neither. Then...oh, oh...my stomach started to rumble. I don't know if it was the salad, or what but, oh my!! I was feeling fine till I had that salad. It's been about 3 hours and it's still not totally settled. The waiter was ok, nice young man, but not too attentive. Don't know if I'll eat there again anytime soon.

Mixed drinks are good, Manhattan was traditional and good enough to order a second. Burger was fantastic very few places do a lettuce wrap and of those who do even fewer can get it right. The Ram does their lettuce wrap burgers very well I will be back for another. If you love garlic like I do get the vampire fries the aroma of garlic when they bring them to your table will send any vampire within 100 feet running, absolutely delicious.

The experience I had had here was kind of balanced. You can see the cook making your food and I watched them countless times wipe there faces and noses then continue cooking. The service however was great "Sarah" our server was on top of it, and kind and very friendly. She totally turned the experience around. Overall it was ok.

I ordered the salmon hummus salad it was good. I didn't really care for the Irish punch beer it was too bitter and not smooth so I drank the blonde instead, it was okay. I watched the march madness game there so it was a nice stop after shopping at the mall.

It figures that it would be during World Breastfeeding Week that I have my first problem breastfeeding in public. We gave RAM Restaurant & Brewery a chance to make it right, but the district manager was apparently just as ignorant as the manager we encountered. Oregon law is the law. It is not something you can choose to comply with. If another customer is bothered that much by me feeding my baby, re-seat them. There is no reason to even approach me, as I am NOT the one with the problem. You, The RAM - Clackamas, violated state law when you tried to bully me into covering up, stopping, or leaving. Not all babies like to be covered (do you eat with a blanket over your head?), and I don't owe anyone an explanation or an apology for feeding my child. Breastfeeding is NOT shameful, and there is no need to hide it, simply because someone is "uncomfortable" and can't be bothered to look at something else (there were plenty of HUGE TVs for one). I certainly didn't stare at other diners throughout my meal. I was enjoying my family and my food. Last night was our first visit, and it will certainly be our last. public.health.oregon.gov… "Oregon law protects a mother's right to breastfeed in public Women have a right to breastfeed in public anywhere that they have a right to be. It's the law! This protection is needed since women breastfeeding in a public place are often asked to stop, leave or cover up. Such situations make women feel embarrassed and fearful of being stigmatized by people around them. Embarrassment remains a formidable barrier to breastfeeding. We have developed a wallet card with information on the breastfeeding in public laws to assist breastfeeding mothers if they are challenged. These can be downloaded and printed or ordered on our Promotion page."

  • Ryan C.

The food is always good. I love the burgers and the beer is excellent......but why am I giving it 3 stars? Because we absolutely hate the new location. Two words "its cramp". The old location I could have a conversation, now everything is shoved in a smaller area and its just plain loud. Also the patio area is in the worst spot ever next to the stop light. No on wants to breath exhaust fumes while they eat ;)

Ok all around. Food ok, service ok. Not sure if staff was tired, but nothing here screams "awesome".

Here for happy hour. My GF ordered corn dog bites. There were 6 that is probably the size of one and a half corn dogs for $6.50. Rip off! I ordered the Bratwurst for $5.49 and it was bland. I have to call it unhappy hour. I like the Ram but happy hour sucks.

The best fried pickles in Portland. They are on the happy hour menu and its just the right amount for two with dinner orders as well.

We came here when it was in the other location attached to the mall and I think I preferred that layout. Overall it felt louder here than before although the only seating we could find was at the bar on game night, so perhaps it's quieter on other nights. Hubby enjoyed the super large TV screens though. Limited vegetarian options but they do offer a veggie patty which I had with the Num Num burger (avocado & greens) and hubby had the Tumbleweed (spicy onion crisps and anaheim pepper straws) and subbed the beef for the veggie patty. Both burgers were huge and tasted good. We also had their Buttface Amber Ale and Big Red IPA. I enjoyed the amber (nice and malty) and hubby liked the IPA. Service was good and efficient. It didn't take long for our food to come out and our server checked on us a few times. No complaints.

  • Dillon L.

Overall it was a good experience. The service was lacking and our food took quite a while (almost an hour although it was fairly busy). My biggest problem was with our waitress, she was very unprofessional. She didnt introduce herself or ask us how we were doing she simply asked if we wanted any drinks right off the top. After taking our drink orders she brought us a bunch of waters and nothing we asked for until about 5 minutes later. After she submitted our order she spent the better part of 20 minutes sitting down at a table talking to two other customers who, I assume, were her friends. This didnt effect our meal directly but I felt it was very unprofessional for her to sit down with friends and chat while on the clock and wearing a uniform rather than tending to the 4 tables she was serving. We had to ask for straws 3 times and she only came to our table to take our orders, deliver our food, and to deliver refills we had to stop her to ask for. The reason this restaurant is getting more than 2 stars is due to the food and the management. The food was phenomenal. My burger came out exactly how I wanted it and it tasted amazing. The fries were seasoned perfectly and all the food was hot when it came to the table. Right before our food came out the manager approached our table and said that he could see we were not happy with how long the food was taking and that he wanted to make it up to us. We accepted his offer and it was smooth sailing for the rest of the meal. In the end I am going to give this restaurant 4 stars because, in my opinion, the food is the most important, although I would give the service 1, maybe 2 stars at most. I would go back for a second time but if I experienced the same service again I would not return for a third.

Awesome place to come for a nice drink out or food with friends/family. I have to admit I liked the Ram they had before that was connected go the side of the mall then this one only because I feel like it's much louder here then it ever was there. Besides that its a food atmosphere. Our waitress was very nice yet I don't remember her name. I wasn't very fond of the Hostesses, the ladies were having a full conversation while we were standing their waiting for a seat. I loveeee their waffle loaded fries from the appetizer menu. It's sooo good especially with their Garlic ranch dipping sauce. Their Clam chowder is also pretty good My friend had their bbq mearloaf sanchwich and she seemed to of loved it. It sorta reminded me of such a "GUYS" hangout place with their large televisions all over the restaurant with football on all their screens but its an awesome environment. Love it

We went in for dinner on a Monday evening arriving just before 6pm. There was a 45 minute wait which surprised me. It seemed like there was plenty of room in the dining area, just needed to move a couple more tables and chairs in. The bar area had lots of seating but kids/teens can't go in there. The Ram needs to reassess how they have their space divided. My husband and I went to the bar for a drink while our teen boys waited by the front. Bar service was slow just because not enough servers. After 40min we got a booth and had a very long wait for our food. Servers are pleasant and are working hard but just not enough of them. Management needs to fix these problems. Food isn't enough to keep us coming back with such bad service.

My family lives in the neighborhood and we have received great service here in the past. On our last visit our two children ordered a 5oz and 8oz salmon. After a longer than usual wait our food arrived with the 5oz 'simply grilled' looking much larger than the 8 oz broiled entrée. Our waitress stated that she would, check with the kitchen.' This was our first warning. In the past issues like this get corrected immediately. When she came back she stated that the kitchen believed they had made it correctly. When we asked to speak with a manager a young man (not the usual manager, which may have been the problem today) stated that he could take the plates and have the food recooked in 10 - 15 minutes. Of course this meant no food for the kids during this timeframe so that option wouldn't work. Maybe their policy where they take food with issues back leaving the rice/vegetables with you has changed? Honestly guys, our tip can reach 100% of the ticket cost when you fix the rare issues that inevitably happen. Tonight just left us confused by the lack of responsiveness. We will in all likelihood try this restaurant again giving us a chance to change the star rating.

Meh, I only come here for $3.50 wells and beers because it's the only place near my house that has a decent happy hour. Happy hour food menu is your standard deep-fried-everything type food. Stay away from the grilled chicken on any dish though, it's super dry and hard to swallow.

In a city as open-minded, health-conscious and politically laid-back as Portland, I was offended and shocked when my wife was asked to cover herself while breast-feeding our five month-old son. Oregon law is clear and definitive in supporting a woman's right to breast feed in any place she herself is allowed to be, specifically describing that not only is it a violation of state law to ask a woman who is breast feeding to leave the premises but to cover herself (see below for a link to the law). Last Sunday, my wife, five month-old son and I were looking to escape the heat and went to Clackamas Town Center. After wandering the mall, we decided to have dinner. Checking out the options, we decided to give The RAM a try. We were promptly seated (in retrospect, unfortunately at the table right in front of the main doors, where everyone walks past when coming in or going out), the hostess took our drink order and our waiter (Taylor J) was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive but not annoyingly so. We ordered the fried cornbread with honey (tasty, with a bit of a kick), my wife had the whiskey chicken and I had the parmesan crusted cod). Both entrees were good, the cod especially. Taylor checked in with us and we were both quite happy and impressed. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn for the worse, badly and quickly. During the meal, my wife had been breast-feeding our son. She has never flaunted or called attention to herself while feeding him, being consistently deft in positioning our son and minimizing the time her breast is exposed without him attached and eating. A man approached us without introducing himself, and asked if we had a cover my wife could use while she was feeding the baby. I promptly explained she did not, told him that Oregon law was clear in supporting a woman's right to breast-feed a child and that it was inappropriate to ask my wife to cover herself. I told him there have been a number of articles in the local and national media recently about a woman's right to breast-feed her child, and asked if he really wanted the negative attention and bad press, given that he was making an unreasonable request (and violating the law). The person (I had no choice but to assume he was the manager) explained "there have been complaints," to which I replied "people are more than welcome to look elsewhere, such as at the numerous large TVs all around the restaurant". I asked if he was requesting us to leave and he said no, and walked away. As if this was not bad enough, a few minutes later, he returned, saying "it may be Oregon law, but it is our policy to ask you to cover yourself". I refused, again asking if he wanted us to leave. He said no and again walked away. As soon as we got home, I emailed the restaurant via their contact page, explaining what happened and asking what they planned to do to correct the staff misunderstanding of the law and to try and repair our very bad impression. The next morning, I received a call from the District manager, who first apologized, explaining the manager should have introduced himself before saying anything, but then went on to say that when we told the manager we did not have a blanket, he should have offered my wife a restaurant t-shirt to cover herself with. The District Manager was not interested in hearing that this was still a violation of state law, said he would talk to the manager, and review the issue with his staff, but was steadfast in his perspective that my wife breast-feeding our child was not something that should have been done in public without being covered. Needless to say, we will be spending our money elsewhere and actively discourage anyone from patronizing The RAM. Oregon statute on breastfeeding: public.health.oregon.gov…

I will say that I had the longest day at work and needed a healthy meal so I met my friend on my way home from the freeway at the Ram. They have multiple alternative menu items that suits anyone that makes healthy choices. Not only did they accommodate but the manager came over to confirm the request! Wow! I FREAKIN LOVE IT! The bartender was so amazingly concerned about me. I want to always come here to watch a game or hit this place on my way home from a hard day.

Great, loud, sporty atmosphere, nice selection of beer and a full bar. Normal bar food, but mostly good. Great happy hour deals on drinks and food. They need to use a more hoppy beer in the beer cheese dip and why do they have to use bagged mashed potatoes?

Fun atmosphere, cool staff, amazing beer, and pretty good food. If you are in the bar look for Chris! Great waiter, cool guy and treats ya like a regular!!! Woulda been five stars if they still had the Mac and Cheese!!!

Always packed, but can always seem to get right in (at the bar) Food is great & so are the drinks! Service is friendly & pretty quick with getting the food out. I love the fish tacos! And you can actually choose to have a large pour of wine that the average restaurant. Of course it is a little more, but I like the option!

I live in Beaverton, but travel with my partner & our 2 year old to Clackamas about once a week to visit grandparents. My partner & I have made this our regular place to have dates while our daughter is spending time with her grandparents, and we LOVE it! The food is excellent! The menu is so varied, there are many options that are all delicious. And they get HUGE bonus points for offering a great veggie burger option, since I don't eat meat but still love burger joint and brew pub type places. My partner loves the beer selection. The service has always been excellent as well. I'm really happy that we found this place!

Unequivocally the worst customer service we've had. Thirty minute wait to place an order. Ordered appetizers and had to ask for plates and napkins. Food was mediocre at best. Only saw waiter once after food brought to the table. Will never go back. $100 for dinner without drinks! What a waste.

I'm being generous when I gave this restaurant 1 star if I can give them a negative I would. My husband and I had not been back for quite a few years. The last time we were there it was just after they opened, on the other side of the Clackamas mall and the service was deplorable. It had been quite a few years since we've been back, we decided to give them one more chance, just to try something different. I have to say when we went last night it was not what we expected. The food was bland & underseasoned and the service was not what we expected. I had mentioned but I was not happy with my steak and the waitress just kind of this dismissed my concern and they took half off my meal, so in turn I actually paid 10 bucks for crappy steak. I expected to have a manager come over and apologized but that didn't happen. I thought for what you were paying for, I would be getting great food, but I guess I was wrong. Should have saved my money and went to a good restaurant. The only thing that was great was my beer. One suggestion, save your money and go somewhere else

We ate there two nights ago and one of the waitresses and waiters were flirting and she was laughing SO loud and obnoxious for a straight 30 minutes. Has the whole restaurant complaining, when I went to the manager he said "I'm aware of it, what do you want me to do". Ask her to leave go outside and grow up! But he refused and even went so far as to justify why he was letting her study as opposed to make his customers happy. Dude... You just lost a customer for life.

Not much needs to be said about this place other than it's awesome. They have a big menu but their specialty seems to be their wide variety of burgers. The prices are very reasonable and their happy hour menu rocks. I would recommend upgrading to their vampire fries if you get a burger as they are garlicly delicious. The place is huge and if you are a sports fan they have many TVs as well. Overall i definitely recommend and trying one of their large selection of burgers. Also sign up for their loyalty club to get great deals emailed to you. They frequently send me bogo offers.

The one thing that stood out on my trip to The Ram was our server. The man had the best energy, goofy allbeit, but awesome. We asked for recommendations as this was our first time visiting and we were not steered wrong. The food was good and portions were massive. Although I didn't order beer- it all looked awesome.

This is an update to my previous review. Th Ram's Yelp administration notified me and their district manger then sent me an email apologizing for the poor service and food by giving us two entrees for free. So we decided to go back to the Ram today and we had a much better experience. I had the fish n chips and the cod was moist and very lightly battered, I can't stand heavy batter. My husband had the fish tacos which were also very good. Service was much better too. Our waiter was very nice and the mgr even came by once he heard that district manager had given us the two entrees for free. My previous review was a one star and the Ram has redeemed itself. I really didn't expect anything from my first review and am very pleased and surprised by how the Ram has redeemed itself.

Not impressed. Everything tastes the same. It's all covered in a weird cheddar sauce over it. And the dessert was totally frozen and hard to eat. I prefer the macaroni grill that used to be here.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. The employees are always very accommodating and professional. My husband is a beer guy and enjoys the variety of brews offered. During football season this is our go to place for Monday Night Football, burger and a beer for $9.99. Great burgers, always fresh ingredients and cooked the way we like them. When we have family visit from out of state we bring them here and everyone has a very enjoyable meal.

*happy hour review only* Stopped here Sunday for happy hour after gaming at Dave & Busters for a few hours. The service was ok, nothing that stood out. A lot of college kids working, paying mediocre attention to you hoping you'll hurry up, order & get on with your day. The happy hour food, was disappointing. The pizza was plain tasting even covered in cheese & grease. The burger was ok but again incredibly greasy with no condiments on it. The garlic fries were coated so heavily in Garlic they activated my gag reflexes. I wouldn't recommend this spot for much more then a beer and sports.

We stopped in here after seeing a movie at the mall. It was a bit more expensive than I had expected from this type of restaurant ($10 appetizers and $15 entrees) but the food was delicious and the portions were pretty big. We were also impressed with the friendliness of the staff, especially the host, who regularly checked in to help refill drinks and clear plates. At the end of the night, we also learned that Wednesday's are "burger days" and there's a discount, so that helped with the price point. Similarly, when glancing at their happy hour menu, I recognized that in order to get the most out of your dollar, that is the time to stop in.

Good place to watch football in the bar area. Food was really good, drinks kind of weak and spendy, but tasty none the less. Good service, friendly people. Good go to local spot for us.

The last time I was here was before they moved to the old Macaroni Grill. I'm not entirely sure I even ordered food as I met a friend for happy hour. I returned today in their new prime location with my 1 year old. The hostess proceeded to take me to quite literally a corner where you shared booth space with the adjacent table and where there were about 4 other groups with children. I asked her if there was somewhere not in a corner and she walked me two spaces down still near all the kids and smack dab in between two families, again, sharing booth space. Some people have no problem with this and that is fine but personally, I don't enjoy sharing my meal with the rowdy soccer team or the sweat from the Chris Farley look-alike dripping on my dinner plate. She seemed rather annoyed when I politely asked her if I could have a stand alone booth. The server came by and brought us water. She was super bubbly and very sweet. I wish I would've gotten her name. I ordered the fried pickles to start (recommended by a friend) and was less than thrilled. Doubtedly because they were not good but rather because I think I'm probably just not a fried pickle person. Our server brought my son some fries to snack on while we waited on our full rack and fries. The food came out rather quick. To be honest - the best thing on the plate was the crunchy and delectable slaw. Ribs, to me, should be tender, fall of the bone with little effort and flavorful. These ribs, however, required a sawing action with a serrated knife to get any meat off the bone. My biggest annoyance? They were SLATHERED in Baby Rays BBQ sauce. I was spooning it off the ribs. Personally I would rather taste the flavor of the meat than half a bottle of store bought BBQ sauce. They boast that their ribs are marinated in their signature IPA and I really wish that would've been more prominent. I was sorely disappointed in this poor excuse for ribs. Perhaps I'm a little bit of a meat snob but it frankly made me not want to return, despite the sweet and attentive server. My drink never once went empty and she made sure to check on us and our surrounding tables very frequently. Too bad the food didn't match the service.

We love visiting the Ram and appreciate that the management always circulates to ensure that the customers are happy. Is it 5-star food? Nope, but you are not going to get a 5-star steak dinner. The food is consistent and hot and is always to our ordering specifications. I would disagree with another Yelper that the food is on par with Applebees. Not even close. My husband and I have been coming to The Ram for over a year since we moved to the neighborhood. We visit at least 4-10 times/month. It's our favorite hang out; the food is great, drinks are awesome and we love the way the staff makes us feel like family. The guys at the bar (especially Adam) always remembers us and we are always well taken care of. Adam remembers our special orders and is super friendly. On a personal note, I'm an executive in charge of Client Experience in the lending area of a bank, so I pay close attention to the details and I take time to note the good and the "could use improvement" areas whenever we go out. The Ram really kicks it out of the ballpark and I truly have no negative comments to say about your food, the service, or the drinks. Everything is so consistent and the food tastes fresh and is always hot when served to the table. Special orders are welcomed and we have never had to send anything back. It's the little details that make a difference.. for instance, Adam always checks to make sure the ketchup bottle is not running low before he hands it to us. The guys and gals at the bar really hustle and you can tell that they really want to make sure the experience is great. Kyle is also a great bartender. The only constructive feedback I have is that I've noticed that The Ram does ask servers who have tattoos to cover them up if they are bigger than a certain size. I know you cannot make everyone happy. Some folks would not like tattoos and some folks would be offended if you made the servers cover them up. My husband and I are extremely conservative, but our feeling is that tattoos should not have to be covered up. As a manager, I can understand that you have to manage to perception, so it would be a difficult call to make... which customers do you go with knowing you cannot make everyone happy? I suppose my comment on this would be that (especially in Oregon) that freedom of expression is the norm almost wherever you go, whether it be hair color, tattoos, piercings or dress. Perhaps in another geographical area of the country it could be stricter, but my vote would be to allow tattoos or other self-expression to show, especially if the employee performance is not hampered. Yep, I know that there will be unhappy clients either way. I know that not everyone will always be on the same page. I also know that employee experience and client experience are strongly linked together and that happy, motivated and engaged employees makes a huge positive difference in client experience. That said, we are HUGE raving fans and will continue to frequent your Clackamas location and say hello to Adam, Kyle and Lauri. Great job, Ram staff! We love ya!

We've eaten here several times and only the last time did we feel excited about our meal; the other times left us feeling just okay. We had burgers previously, then tried the blackened salmon tacos most recently. Overall, it's a fun spot to go. They have good beer and the staff has been generally pretty good - just what you'd expect from a place that serves burgers and beer. For our kids, it works out well with the loud environment and large booths. All in all, we'll return.

Went here for lunch. First time visitor. Menu is big with lots of nummy looking options. This is not a place to go if you are watching your calories. That being said they had some great "lighter fare" options and a nice size list of "skinny" cocktails. I ended up getting the pulled pork sandwich. I was disappointed. In my opinion it was lacking any real flavor. My side salad was typical and nothing special. I wish I would have gone with another option. We don't live near here, but would definitely come back and try something different (my husband loved his burger and vampire/garlic fries) and the mixed drinks were excellent :)

Normally really happy with the Ram. Today, not so much. it's a busy Sunday lunch, I get that. we didn't wait at all for a table for 2 which is huge plus, since its normally 30 minutes or more. menus and drinks came fast... diet coke for the girl, and green beer (almost St Patty's after all.) for me. main issues came with service. Our server, Brian, was seemingly stressed about how long it took him to get to us, but since we were in no hurry, he was relieved. told him we needed more time, and off he went. While deciding, I asked the hostess if we could switch the TV nearest to our table to Baseball instead of the NCAA game that was on. she said she'd have to check because someone requested to watch the Miami game. FYI Michigan vs Michigan state was on, not Miami. I guess you shouldn't ever ask for the TV's to be switched, it doesn't happen. table behind me asked same question, got same answer... I almost turned to tell them its a lost cause and to just enjoy the game that is on, cause the one you WANT to watch is playing on the other side of the restaurant. Anyway, back to service... I think it was the floor manager who took our order, since we were ready and server Brian was no where to be seen. Whoever he was, he didn't have a name tag, and his shirt didn't seem to fit very well. not professional looking at all. girl ordered the chopped Cobb, no tomato, and I ordered the Santa Fe Rodeo burger, medium rare, with fries. simple right? guess not. my burger was not medium rare, and the biggest offense was the tomatoes we had asked to not be on the salad, were there in their shiny red glory. she would have picked them out herself, if they weren't chopped into tiny little pieces. sent that back! replacement came out fast (not our server, but kitchen runner, bet Brian didn't even know there was an issue.) Food quality was alright. I feel that ever since the move, quality in service and food has gone down. Last interaction with our server was him pitching dessert while we're only half way into our food, and then dropping a check. he asked if I wanted another beer, which I declined, I posted a card, bill was paid, and we were done. final notice: a nacho was rung in on our bill, brought out during our wait for our order to be taken (which we didn't order, duh) and I noticed on paying that it was on our tab, and then voided off... Double check your bill before signing anything. Sorry Ram, you just didn't live up to expectations today.

Since this restaurant has only been open for a few weeks there were some hiccups, but all and all it had tasty sandwiches. I enjoyed the notorious p.i.g. sandwich with some fried pickles. I also had the chance to take a bite of the french dip which was also very good. It was a little loud, a little slow, but the staff was friendly and food was filling. Pretty good for a chain restaurant.

I live in Beaverton, but travel with my partner & our 2 year old to Clackamas about once a week to visit grandparents. My partner & I have made this our regular place to have dates while our daughter is spending time with her grandparents, and we LOVE it! The food is excellent! The menu is so varied, there are many options that are all delicious. And they get HUGE bonus points for offering a great veggie burger option, since I don't eat meat but still love burger joint and brew pub type places. My partner loves the beer selection. The service has always been excellent as well. I'm really happy that we found this place!

I always get the hillbilly burger, it's my favorite. I really liked this place when they were at their old location by Sears. Now that they have moved there is always a wait and it's really loud.

Meh. That's about all I can say about this place. The food was pretty much on par with Applebee's. There's nothing really wrong with it, I just think I could make a better steak at home for much less money. The service was good and the beer was decent, but I definitely would not go back by choice.

Enjoy!

I really like the new location and building. Lots of big screens to watch sports. Happy hour was great and on Sundays kids eat their meal for $1 for every adult entrée ordered, which is great!

Good place to watch football in the bar area. Food was really good, drinks kind of weak and spendy, but tasty none the less. Good service, friendly people. Good go to local spot for us.

Unequivocally the worst customer service we've had. Thirty minute wait to place an order. Ordered appetizers and had to ask for plates and napkins. Food was mediocre at best. Only saw waiter once after food brought to the table. Will never go back. $100 for dinner without drinks! What a waste.

Still deserving of a 5 star. My bro in law and myself camped at the bar this time, getting some outstanding cheap growler refills! Love it!
